We at Birka are passionate about giving school children a great interest in the Viking Age.
During the boat tour to Birka our guide starts to bring the Viking Age alive! Our guides and archaeologists take you on a journey through time. On the island you will go for an exciting walk through the archaeological area, have a picnic in the countryside and a visit our museum.

Are you an entire school or several classes looking to book a visit to Birka? In addition to the period mentioned above, bookings are also available on Mondays from May 5 to June 10. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are also available for booking between September 1 and 24.
