In the summer Birka is inhabited by the association Birka-Hovgårdens Gille who will live and work in the viking village for two weeks during the summer.
Here you can stroll through the viking quarters and speak to the vikings, watch the craftsmen and learn about their trade and visit our small harbour and watch the Viking boats.
